We are not a law firm
HowMuchIsMyClaim.com is not a law firm. We do not practice law, we do not provide legal services, and we do not represent anyone in a legal matter. We are a free service that helps people understand whether they may have a claim and connects them with third-party attorneys and legal marketing partners.
Nothing here is legal advice
Everything on this Site is general information. It is not legal advice and must not be treated as a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney who has reviewed the facts of your situation.
Law differs substantially from state to state, and outcomes turn on details. Do not act on, or delay acting on, anything you read here. If your situation matters to you, speak to a licensed attorney in your state.
No attorney–client relationship
Using this Site, submitting a form, or being contacted by an attorney we connect you with does not create an attorney–client relationship.
An attorney–client relationship is formed only when you and a law firm sign a separate written agreement directly with each other. Until that happens, nothing you send us is protected by attorney–client privilege, and no attorney is acting on your behalf or protecting your deadlines.
No guarantee of results
We do not guarantee that any attorney will accept your case, that a claim will be filed, or that you will recover anything at all.
Prior results do not guarantee or predict a similar outcome. Every claim depends on its own facts, the applicable law, the available insurance coverage, and decisions made by parties outside our control. Many claims produce no recovery.
Nothing on this Site is a prediction, promise, valuation, or estimate of what any claim is worth.
Testimonials, examples, and portrayals are illustrative
Any scenarios, examples, figures, symbols, testimonials, or dramatized scenes appearing on this Site or in our advertising are illustrative only. They are not based on actual events, they do not describe any real client, and they may feature paid actors or spokespersons.
Results vary. Any reference to “no fee” refers to attorney fees only — other costs may still apply. Descriptive words such as “best” are slogans, and do not reflect any ranking, award, or certification.
We do not vet or endorse attorneys
Attorneys participate in our network by paying to do so. Payment is the only requirement for participation.
We do not evaluate, vet, rate, or verify the qualifications of participating attorneys, and our matching process involves no evaluative judgment. Being connected with an attorney through this Site does not mean that attorney is the best or the right choice for you, or that we prefer them over any other attorney. You are responsible for satisfying yourself about any attorney before engaging them, and you are free to hire anyone you like, or nobody.
Attorney advertising
This Site may constitute attorney advertising under the rules of your jurisdiction. This advertising is paid for by participating attorneys as part of a joint advertising program.
Some states require attorney advertising to identify the attorney or attorneys who paid for it. Where those requirements apply, the relevant notice appears in the disclosures at the foot of every page on this Site.
TCPA disclosure — consent to be contacted
Where this Site asks for a phone number and you provide one, the consent language shown to you at the point of submission governs what you are agreeing to. This section summarises it.
What you are agreeing to. By providing your phone number and submitting it, you consent to receive calls and text messages from HowMuchIsMyClaim.com, its affiliates, and attorneys and legal marketing partners in our network, at the number you provided, in order to discuss your potential claim and for marketing purposes.
How you may be contacted. Those communications may be made using automated telephone dialing technology and artificial, pre-recorded, or AI-generated voice.
Consent is not required to buy anything. Your consent is not a condition of any purchase, and it does not obligate you to hire any attorney or to proceed with a claim.
More than one party may contact you. We may share your information with several attorneys or partners, and each of them may contact you.
Rates. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.
How to stop. Reply STOP to any text message to opt out, or HELP for help. To stop email, use the unsubscribe link. To stop calls, tell the caller, or contact us at privacy@howmuchismyclaim.com.
Opting out with us stops communications from us. If a third-party attorney or partner already holds your information, you will need to opt out with them directly as well.
Your information. How we handle what you submit — including who we share it with and why — is set out in our Privacy Policy. You can opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information at any time via our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page.
Third parties
This Site links to and connects you with businesses we do not operate or control. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, services, advice, privacy practices, or conduct of any third party, including any attorney, law firm, or legal marketing partner.
